Readers are the audience for journals published on OJS. While no account is required to read most open access content, registering as a reader unlocks additional features such as email notifications, comment access (if enabled), and subscription management.
Role scope
The Reader role is the default role assigned to any newly registered user. It provides read-only access to published content and personal account management.
