Why Track Upcoming Features?
- Plan ahead — journal managers and site administrators can prepare their workflows and plugin configurations before a new release.
- Provide feedback — PKP welcomes community input on upcoming features via the forum and GitHub.
- Evaluate upgrade timing — know what is coming to decide when to upgrade.

Testing Development Builds
If you want to evaluate upcoming features before they ship in a stable release:
- Set up a dedicated test server — never use a production environment
- Use the
mainbranch of OJS from GitHub for the latest development code - Report bugs on the OJS GitHub issue tracker
- Discuss features on the PKP Community Forum
